We've Moved! On to Kansas City!

I hope that this message finds you alive and well! There is a lot of news to share!

As you know, God’s plan for us was to spend a season of training here in Redding, CA at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. This had been planned for some time, as the Lord gave us a prophetic word at a gathering in Sept. ’08 that we would ‘be in California for a season of training’, before we were even married!

We have since completed the first year school of ministry here, and throughout last summer, we both felt as though we weren’t supposed to continue with the second year. Carrie and I both had several dreams in the night that prompted us to pray and in doing so we’ve been making decisions on how our future plays out, and are finding ourselves back in the middle of the word given in ’08 that we were to be ‘radically launched’ into ministry.

Over the past 5 years or so, I have been in a developing and growing relationship with individuals directly and indirectly involved with 24-7 Prayer at Believer’s Church in Tulsa, and with the Boiler Room/24-7 Prayer USA headquarters in Kansas City. Adam Cox and David Blackwell are on the core team for the KC Boiler Room, and ended up here in Redding last April. To our complete and baffling surprise, they were meeting with my housemates in MY DINING ROOM (they are all old friends through YWAM). This was the beginning of discovering what God was unfolding for this next season.

As the plot thickens, Carrie and I are finding ourselves in the middle this global grass-roots movement, 24/7 Prayer (24/7) and The Kansas City Boiler Room (KCBR), discovering that we in many ways are wired for relationships and roles they have need for in leadership, administration, and envisioning the future of revival through this movement. Most of all, Carrie and I find that our deepest passions – FAMILY, PRAYER, & WORSHIP – are also core DNA elements of the KCBR and 24/7 (Core values KCBR, core values 24/7).

We are in transition now, out of this amazing and wonderful season of transformation, renewal, and revival in Redding, CA, and into the next season of these same things in Kansas City. The roles that Carrie and I will fill will both support the local KCBR community, and 24/7 Prayer USA.

I've been invited to shadow Joe Steinke, the national team leader of 24-7 Prayer USA, as his apprentice in serving the national network of relationships. This will orient me with the big picture of what's going on in 24-7 Prayer, not only in the US, but also internationally. Joe likes the idea of a Paul with Timothy kind of relationship, where he can entrust to me, over time, the same responsibility he carries for the kingdom family work in these fields. We are leaning in, finding ourselves in a community of people that want to share the stewardship of Kingdom Family in the expressions of 24/7 Prayer.

Carrie, on the other hand, has accepted an invitation to serve as the operations manager for 24/7 USA, handling all things operational and administrative, as well as a similar role in the KCBR – coming alongside the core team (leadership) to serve the local expression of church and community through her gifts in administration. Below is a link to a video that will give you a better picture of what we're getting into.

It seems that Papa really knows what He’s doing! We can’t think of anything that would give us more life than being with people that have the same passions as we do, and chasing those dreams full on ahead.

At this point, we need some help with financial support, and we would like to ask you to partner with us. Please consider supporting us as we pursue the passion and call of God to provoke a hungry generation of believers and non-believers to ‘come home’, and find hope in the Lord through seasons, rhythms and expressions of prayer and community with the King and His Family.

Thank you so much for being a part of this journey with us. We can’t imagine where we’d be without your involvement in our lives. There is no way to fully express any appreciation we owe you, but know that without your contributions in our lives none of what we’ve accomplished would be possible.

Blessings,

Brandon & Carrie
