AWAKEN LOVE!!!

Last night at the Burn, well. . . . . ."You are the light that shines, you are the hope that I find! Awaken me! Awaken me! No height or depth could separate me from this great romance that you and I have become. Awaken love in me! Awaken love in me!"

This song came out - and the words were, "Awaken Love". I wish I could have had it recorded, it was so absolutely incredible.

This weekend was quite possibly the most intense Burn I have ever experienced, as musicians are gathering, increasingly, with increaseD passion, and an increased purity of heart, truly seeking the Kingdom of God in a way that hasn't been done in thousands of years through music. David Burris played a set Saturday morning, and said quite possibly the most concentrated set of words of prophecy I have ever heard. He sang of redemption, and restoration. Most of all, he spoke of the mantles that have been dropped as the men of God through time have passed on to be with the Lord. Today is the least of the days to come, as the outpouring of God begins to be rebirthed, not in a mere revival in a single city, but in the hearts of our generation.

I began to meditate on the mantle that David carried for worship and communion with the Father for his generation, for his kingdom. He was not aware of anything but the presence of God, and the joy that was brought about within that. I got a picture of David dancing nearly naked in the street as the ark was returned from the enemy's camp. I think the only way he would have stopped is if his legs broke. We must pick up the mantle that has lain dormant for thousands of years, especially as artists, the sons and daughters of God that are meant to be awakened by LOVE! We must dance and sing as we go before the Lord! As we proceed with purpose! The purpose of redemption!

I am am absolutely sure that the Lord's presence is with us to Turkey, as we go to proclaim his goodness over the deep roots of flesh, sinful nature, and denial of an absolute and true God - spiritual darkness. He is faithful to His word, and through our going, we will carry His light, and we will sing shout and dance, for our praises are the glory that wraps His throne in splendor. I have been looking into "glory" moments in the Word, with accounts from Moses, Ezekiel, John most specifically. The glory is not God, but it surrounds Him. It goes before and behind Him. It says in Exodus, that the Lord would descend in the cloud, not as the cloud. It is recorded that the glory would go before the Lord proclaiming "The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering and abundant in goodness and truth." We are his pride and joy, the reason for His selfish desire to have us as His bride!

The Bride is being awakened! The Church is rising as it is becoming pure, and shedding the unnecessary weights! We are becoming more mobile than ever before! We are becoming more pure by simply spending time with Him! Proclaiming that we are the age old promise of Abraham! I am a promise! I am a fulfilled dream that God has! It is time to continue forward with fire and passion and zeal for the Lord's heart! After Your Heart Oh GOD! WE ARE AFTER YOUR HEART!
